Christopher Wallace became one of the best rappers to ever live, the King of New York! Sadly, the Notorious BIG was murdered in Los Angeles on March 9, 1997- less than a year after Tupac shared the same fate in Las Vegas. He was attending a party at the Petersen Automotive Museum in LA and was shot afterward. He died later at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Biggie overcame the perils of his Brooklyn neighborhood to reach the heights of rap success with his debut Ready to Die. His Jamaican mother raised him and she did not like rap. Biggie has a daughter that was featured in the “Juicy” video. He married Faith Evans and they have a son C.J.
