Master P used to open for 2Pac

Published July 16, 2022 by

Before No Limit Records was a New Orleans phenomenon, it was a record store in Richmond, CA. Percy Miller, aka Master P, used money from a settlement in 1991 to open No Limit Record Shop through which he distributed his early music.

Around this same time, Tupac Shakur aka 2Pac was a rising star in the Bay Area. P stated he used to open to Pac in the Bay. “It was crazy, because everyone was there to see Tupac. They didn’t care about me…”Later, Master P made a tribute record to the late rapper. It’s called “R.I.P. Tupac” and was featured on the 1997 album West Coast Bad Boyz.
