Cam’Ron used to rap as Killa Cam. Cam’ron originally went by the moniker Killa Cam.

Before Cameron Ezike Giles was famously known as just Cam’Ron, his first rap name was Killa Cam. In the mid 90’s, CamRon started his music career when he formed the underground hip-hop group ‘Children Of The Corn’ with Big L, Herb McGruff, his high-school friend Mase (Mase was known as Murda Mase back then), and his cousin, Bloodshed, the group would eventually break up after Bloodshed’s death.

After Mase put The Notorious B.I.G. on to Cam’Ron’s music which Biggie really enjoyed, Cam’Ron would eventually be signed by The Notorious B.IG.’s partner, Lance Rivera in a label called Untertainment where he would release his debut album Confessions of Fire in 1998 and start making a name for himself.
