Ye has been having problems with Gap for a while
Kanye West has terminated his partnership with clothing brand Gap. According to a letter from Ye’s lawyers to the company seen by the Wall Street Journal, Gap breached the agreement by failing to release Ye’s merch, as well as failing to set up retail stores dedicated to his merch.
The rapper has been going after the company for a minute. Last month, he demanded more involvement in the deal or else he’d leave. “You have to really give me the position to be Ye and let me do what I’m thinking, or I have to do the thinking somewhere else ” he said.
Ye has also been accusing Gap of leaving him out of meetings and creative processes.
