Published November 1, 2024 by

Young Thug is expected to be a free man after Judge Paige Whitaker sentenced him to time served in the aftermath of a guilty plea to all charges against him except racketeering and being a gang leader.

“Essentially is 40 years, to serve the first five years in prison,” Judge Whitwaker said during the court session. “But commuted to the time that you have already served. Followed by 15 years on probation. Followed then by the back-loaded 20 years, which can be served in custody and will be serve in custody if you are not successful on your probation. If you are successful in completing your 15 years probation, that will be commuted to time served.”
