Young Thug Seeks to Modify Probation Terms to Allow Residence in Atlanta Home

Published December 11, 2024 by

Young Thug’s legal team has filed a motion to alter a probation term in his plea deal for the YSL RICO case

Young Thug’s legal staff has filed a motion proposing to change a term of probation from his plea deal in the YSL RICO case. The deal, struck on October 31, forbids the rapper from residing in the Metro Atlanta area for the next 10 years. However, one of his recently acquired homes falls in this restricted area as a result of a court amendment to the sentencing sheet on November 8.

In documents filed on December 5, Thug’s group requested approval for him to reside at his Atlanta home, emphasizing that this house will facilitate family gatherings, holidays, and business activities. The parole officer agrees with the request, but the judge has yet to decide on it.
