Young Thug allowed to communicate and make music with Gunna in plea deal

Published November 1, 2024 by

Thug’s lawyer asked judge not to restrict communication between him and Gunna

Young Thug will be able to communicate and record music with Gunna after entering a guilty plea that will see him set free any time now. This is after Thug’s lawyer Brian Steel asked Judge Paige Whitaker not to restrict the Bussiness Is Bussiness rapper from linking up with his brother Quantavious Grier and Gunna, who also pleaded guilty and was released last year.

As part of his plea deal, Thugger is is not allowed to meet any of his YSL crew members.

“He’s a phenomenal artist,” Steel told Judge Whitaker. “Mr. Williams and Mr. Kitchens are contractually obligated and they frequently perform music together.”

Young Thug will have no contact with any of the other co-defendants in his ongoing RICO trial, but he specifically asks for two exemptions:

His biological brother, and Gunna.
