The term and slang “Whoadie” and a noun, which was originated in New Orleans, Louisiana during the early 2000s. The word came from people of the same wards in New Orleans referring to each other as “waaarr-day” which eventually became “whoadie.”
Whoadie means a friend or homie.
Whoadie can be used to reference a homeboy, a friend, a cousin, a brother, a partner, or someone you’re cool with.
The term “Whoadie” has been used by Lil Wayne, Kodak Black, Eminem, Young Thug, Master P, Kid Cudi, Trippie Redd, and many more rappers.
