Lil Tjay pulls through following New Jersey shooting
It’s officially confirmed that Lil Tjay is doing much better and even talking after New Jersey shooting. A clip surfaced online early this week showing the 21-year old rapper on FaceTime with cheerful friends. Tjay can be seen smiling from a hospital bed looking in good spirits.
After staying in a coma for days, the Destined 2 Win rapper was reported to be conscious last week. He’d suffered gunshot wounds to his upper chest after a New Jersey shooting on June 22.
Tjay and his two friends were reportedly sitting in red Dodge Durango in Edgewater before 27-year old Mohamed Konate and co. tried to rob Tjay and his buddies but a shootout ensued.
Konate was also hit during the gunfight but was arrested by Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the New York City Police Department. He’s being charged with three counts of attempted murder, three counts of armed robbery, aggravated assault, and weapons-related offenses.
