Police arrest suspects in the killing of Desto
Two people have been arrested and charged with the murder of Lil Uzi Vert’s artist Lotta Cash Desto. Per Fox 26 Houston, 19-year-old Jeremyah Smith and 21-year-old Christian Isiah Williams are in custody for the killing of Desto.
Williams was arrested shortly after Desto’s fatally shooting in September 2022 thanks to him getting shot in the stomach during the incident. Police found Williams with a bullet wound and transported him to a nearby hospital. Investigations later led the cops to arresting Smith in Louisiana and booked him at Harris County Joint Processing Center on April 21.
Williams and Smith’s bonds are set at $500K and $150K respectively.
Desto’s dad Hernandez Govan was arrested late last year and was indicted in the murder of rapper Young Dolph. The authorities haven’t revealed any link between Desto and Dolph’s deaths.
