Lil Tjay out of surgery but remains in hospital
Lil Tjay remains in hospital after getting shot Wednesday midnight in Edgewater, New Jersey. According to TMZ, the suspected triggerman has been arrested, but two of Tjay’s buddies who were with him at the time of the shooting were also picked up by police.
Bergen County Prosecutors say Mohamed Konate attempted to rob Tjay and his two friends at gunpoint before shooting him multiple times. One of Tjay’s associates was also shot once.
Konate is being charged with three counts of attempted first-degree murder. The two people who were with Tjay are being charged with second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon. A mugshot of Konate has surfaced online.
According to reports, Tjay was out of surgery on Wednesday but he’s still under medical supervision.
