The Game Offers Shelter to Families Affected by Los Angeles Wildfires

Published January 17, 2025 by

Game is offering aid to families affected by the ongoing Los Angeles wildfires

The Game is pulling out all the stops to much-needed assistance to individuals suffering from the horrendous wildfires in Los Angeles. While the city is still being ravaged by huge fires, the Compton rapper, who announced on Wednesday, January 8, started providing help to families that were forced to leave their homes.

In his story on Instagram, The Game mentioned that he and his talent manager, Travis Wilson, helped 10 of the fire-stricken families by securing for them some free accommodation in @airbnb. “Me & [Travis Wilson] are helping 10 families affected by the fires here get into @airbnb for a week free of charge,” he shared with his followers, along with a praying hands emoji.

The rapper has since encouraged those staying in these shelters to contact Wilson on Instagram. “Must have an identification or driver’s license with address in the affected areas,” The Game added, ensuring that the assistance reaches those most in need.

Game’s benevolence has come at an opportune moment when thousands of others are facing loss and homelessness due to the raging wildfires sweeping across Southern California. His act shows an example of the strength of community props in times of crisis.
