The mothers of Takeoff and Quavo have come together with the White House once again in memory of the departed Migos rap artist and to continue the fight against gun violence.

Representing Quavo’s Rocket Foundation, Titania Davenport (Takeoff’s mother) and Edna Maddox (Quavo’s mother and Takeoff’s grandmother), met with Greg Jackson, Deputy Director of the White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention, to attend an event titled “Turning Pain Into Purpose: A Conversation on Gun Violence.” Discussing the painful impact of losing loved ones to gun violence.

Titania would now consider that with pain, one should grow and help others move forward.

Post the event, Jackson shared a heartfelt Instagram post in which he wrote: “Takeoff should still be here, but his legacy lives on through the bravery and activism of his family. Proud to stand alongside his mother and grandmother during their first on-stage appearance, hosted by @fortunemag, as they shared their loss, the mission of @rocketfdn, and the urgent need to #endgunviolence.
