Tip says he’s always been good with Weezy
T.I. has refuted claims that he and Lil Wayne were at odds during their collaboration on the 2008 Grammy Award-winning song “Swagga Like Us.”
During a recent appearance on Fat Joe’s Fat Joe Talks podcast, Tip was reminiscing about the smash record which featured JAY-Z, Kanye West, and M.I.A. when the early 2000s rumors of his alleged beef with Wayne was brought up.
“Many we got many records together,” Tip said while addressing the rumors. “And I think that some people talk because they got lips. And it’s respect there. The toughest fight you had, regardless of who it was you fought, you left with a respect for that person. It got to be that.”
