This is the first time in five years the Barbados decorated artist has entered the Hot 100, but it’s her 32nd entry into the Top 10s. Some of the 34-year old’s career Top 10 hits include, “Umbrella,” “Disturbia,” Work,” “Needed Me,” and one her most recent, “Love On The Brain” (2017).

“Lift Me Up” was co-written by Ludwig Göransson, Ryan Coogler, and Nigerian singer Tems. Released via Westbury Road, Roc Nation, Def Jam as well as Marvel & Disney, the song is a tribute to the late Black Panther actor, Chadwick Boseman.
