Ray Vaughn Fires Back at Joey Bada$$ with “Crashout Heritage” Freestyle

Ray Vaughn fired back at Joey Bada$$ with new freestyle

TDE’s rapper Ray Vaughn has fired back at Joey Bada$$ in a scorching freestyle titled “Crashout Heritage” that dropped Wednesday, January 8. The “beef track,” built over Kendrick Lamar’s song “The Heart Pt. 6,” is a rebuttal of Joey’s last release “The Ruler’s Back,” where he took a few shots at West Coast Hip Hop.

“Crashout Heritage” is some classic Vaughn with sharp bars directed at Joey, as he spits: “What the fuck’s with all this sneak dissing? Taking shots at us then hide the Uzi / ‘Cause the only badass the world was recognizing is Boosie.” He continues, “Man, fuck being buddy-buddy with n-ggas dissing in public / But see us in private and try to act like a distant cousin.”

The Long Beach rapper sure is calling out those rappers who are just too quick to throw shade and are hesitant to confront their targets. He was referring to Kendrick Lamar with the idea of addressing all with full straightforwardness. “At least the homie was direct when he was mentioning y’all names,” he spits.

Ray Vaughn was clear about tagging what the track is for on social media as: “2025 no sneak dissin, only crashouts. @joeyBADASS.” And well, the battle is on.
