Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five was originally Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Four (IV) MCs; the group included Grandmaster Flash, Keith Keith Aka. Keef “Cowboy” Wiggins, Melle Mel, The Kidd Creole, and Mr. Ness at the time of the May 11, 1979 rap battle in the Bronx, New York.
