Polo G promises new album is ‘behind’ new La Lakers freestyle

Polo G stopped by Power 106 on Tuesday (June 13) where he dropped his third La Lakers freestyle for Justin Credible. The 24-year-old rapper hopped on Ja Rule’s 2004 hit “New York” beat and laid down his thoughts for around two minutes.

When asked why he chose the beat, the rapper said he wanted to be “different” while expressing his love for New York.
