Memphis rapper NLE Choppa was born on November 1, 2002. He is most well known for his platinum song “Shotta Flow” and for discovering mediation as a way to deal with mental health issues and the anxiety related to being a young rap star. His birth name is Bryson Lashun Potts and he entered the rap game in 2018.
His mother, who is also his manager, is Jamaican and his father is African-American. He was a member of XXL’s 2020 Freshman Class. His debut album Top Shotta arrived in 2020 followed by the mixtape From Dark to Light, which arrived on his birthday later that year. He formerly rapped under the stage name YNR Choppa.
