NLE Choppa says the forthcoming single will be “Song of Month Possibly Of Year”
NLE Choppa is finally linking on a collab with fellow Memphis rapper, Moneybagg Yo, a record Chop says is a potential contender for song of the month or even the year.
The No Love Entertainment leader let off a tweet early Tuesday morning (January 11), announcing he’s got a new song with Moneybagg dropping on Friday (January 14).

Moneybagg made news earlier in the month when he decided to take Chop’s 2021 advice to cut off lean. Despite scoring a major hit with his lean-anthem, “Wockesha,” from his album A Gangsta’s Pain, Moneybagg said he quit the cough syrup.
“I use to think being sober would f-ck wit my creative process,” the 30-year old tweeted on Jan 4. “I see dats just a mind thing cuz I been more active skin glowing and I been dropping nun but pressure Fire #NomoWockesha.”

In June 2021, NLE Choppa shared a tweet challenging rappers that for every pint of lean or alcohol they take, they should take a pint of chlorophyll from his company which he said helps in body detoxification. He said he’d even personally deliver some of the herbal product to Moneybagg Yo, who then quoted the tweet with a handshake emoji.

Who knows, perhaps the two rappers are planning to drop an anti-lean gem to counter the content found on most of the mainstream rap.
