Nipsey Hussle Almost Put “Right Hand 2 God” as the ‘Victory Lap’ Intro

Published February 16, 2020 by

Nipsey Hussle‘s Victory Lap album was the last album released by the late rapper (amongst so many other titles this man held).

When it came to the sequencing, Nipsey didn’t initially have “Victory Lap” as the introductory track. To begin the album, Nipsey had in mind “Right Hand 2 God,” a track that lives as the final track on Victory Lap. It’s also a bonus track.

“When we did the sequencing, that was one of the last decisions I made to put that record first,” Nipsey said in an interview with Rap Radar. “I was gonna put ‘Right Hand 2 God first because it sounded like an introduction. Cobby [Supreme] was like ‘put that first, bro.”
