Nicki Minaj vividly remembers her very first concert experience. During a recent sit-down on Stephen Colbert’s The Late Show, the Queen of Barbies revealed that the first performance she attended was Hot 97’s 2001 Summer Jam where Jay-Z brought out Michael Jackson during his set.
“Many, many years ago… and Michael Jackson came out. Yes,” she explained. “He was a surprise guest on JAY-Z’s set. He didn’t perform, he came out of this box and the people went crazy.”
Nicki is getting ready to hit the road for her Pink Friday 2 tour which will commence in March. This week, she added 13 new dates to the original line up and promised more.
