Nicki reveals what she would tell her younger self
Nicki Minaj’s presence in rap has been felt for more than a decade and it’s still being heavily felt. For this reason, many fans wonder how she perceives her success. During a recent interaction with her Twitter followers, Nicki was asked if she wishes she had “a normal life,” and the advice she would give her younger self.
“I have everything I ever prayed for,” the New York rapper replied. “If I could tell my younger self something I’d say: ‘hang in there, one day you’ll have the best fans on earth.”
As she enjoys the success of her single “Red Ruby Da Sleeze,” Nicki has more to celebrate as her collab with Ice Spice, “Princess Diana,” debuted at No. 4 on Billboard Hot 100 this week.
