Nas says he put Pac on Henny
Nas unleashed his new album Magic 2 last Friday and on the tenth record, “Pistols on Your Album Cover,” he recounts giving the late 2Pac a taste of Hennessy. “I remember I put 2Pac onto that Henny,” Nas says in the track’s interlude. “Howard University, Howard Homecoming, D.C. He’s like, ‘What’s this?’ He drank that shit, though, word.”
However, in a 2021 interview on My Expert Opinion podcast, Nas’ friend G-Wiz claimed that it was Escobar’s associate Phun who gave Pac the Henny following the release of the New York rapper’s song “Halftime” dropped in 1992.
