Nas Applauds Kendrick Lamar Following Surprise ‘GNX’ Release
Nas had to show his support for Kendrick Lamar after the surprise album drop, GNX. The Queensbridge rapper posted the GNX album cover on the gram saying: “Always inspired by my brother KL. Keeping the essence of this shit alive and at the forefront. Salute King!”
Part of that admiration seems to reflect Kendrick’s sampling of Nas’ “One Mic” on “man at the garden” and his mention in “wacced out murals,” the opening song from GNX.
