Metro sampled Homelander’s voice on his new album

Apart from an extraordinary rollout and a solid lineup, Metro Boomin also surprised his fans with Homelander’s voice in his new album Heroes & Superheroes. At the end of the intro “On Time” which features John Legend, Metro includes The Boys’ superhero character’s unremorseful speech from the second episode of the third season.

“I’m done,” Homelander says in the cut. “I am done apologizing. I am done being persecuted for my strength. You people should be thanking Christ that I am who and what I am because you need me. You need me to save you.”

The Homelander character is played by actor Anthony Starr.
