Meek and Ye go back and forth on the internet
Meek Mill responds to Kanye West after recently clowning and laughing at him during a Clubhouse interview. Ye was chopping it up with Wack 100 when he started talking about celebrities who reacted to his White Lives Matter t-shirt, and he brought up Meek Mill whom he laughed at for almost a minute.
“Oh, you know what, let’s go get celebrities,” Ye began. “Let’s go get Puff Daddy, let’s get Dave Chappelle, let’s go get Meek Mill… What made somebody think Meek Mill could say something to me?!” the Chicago rapper said while bursting into laughter.
“Yo, man, I’m about to start crying laughing,” he added. “Somebody thought Meek Mill… Yo, I’m literally in tears.”
One of the listeners added, “This a world tour or your girl tour, right?” making Ye laugh even harder.
Meek Mill later hit Twitter clapping back at the Donda artist. “Never lost my mind for fame or money … I still have my family …my people respect me … I’m freeing people from prison… I’m doing community service all month with children up close and personal .. I’m chilling wit my son and his friends today.. y’all on clubhouse at 50 lol,” he wrote.
The Philly rapper further clarified his point in another tweet, “I mean 50 on clubhouse drawing and not doing any positive wit ya following at that age is hittttt… you can be old or young on clubhouse it’s a place to connect!”
