Master P holds Wayne in high regards
Master P ran into HipHopDX at the City of Hope Spirit red carpet of Life Gala where he was asked what he thinks of Lil Wayne as the Young Money boss readies his joint album with 2Chainz. “Lil Wayne, I mean, he’s the GOAT,” the No Limit legend said. “Where we come from – Louisiana to the world – you haven’t seen greatness like that. Lyrical, talented. Shout to Cash Money records. No Limit Records in the building.”
Weezy and 2Chainz are putting together their upcoming collaborative album, Welcome 2 ColleGrove. Last week, the pair revealed the official cover art and a release date of November 17 for the album. The project will be the second sequel to their 2016 joint release, ColleGrove.
