Lisa Nicole Lopes was a founding member of TLC. She tragically passed away in a car accident in Honduras in 2002. She was studying with Dr. Sebi, also deceased, to help her and her friends on a wellness retreat. A documentary was being filmed at the time of the accident.
She was born in Philadelphia and moved to Atlanta to join the girl group in 1990. She won 4 Grammys with the group and is the only member to release a solo album. She is laid to rest at Hillandale Memorial Gardens in Lithonia, GA.
