Lionsgate facing massive lawsuit
Former drug lord Corey “Ghost” Holland is suing Lionsgate for reportedly allowing 50 Cent to visit his neighborhood and intimidate him, per a report by Allhiphop. He seeks $300M in damages.
Earlier this year, Holland filed a $1B suit against 50 Cent for using the story of his life to create a film without his consent and compensation. He claims after filing the suit, Fif and his entourage visited his neighborhood looking for him. Holland says he was forced to prepare himself for self-defense and 50’s people wouldn’t let him confront him. Holland claims Lionsgate was aware of Fif’s actions yet continued to work with him.
50 Cent’s and Holland’s parties are scheduled to come to the negotiation table on May 9 where they’re expected to come to an agreement.
