Lil Zay Osama was arrested in New York early this month on gun charges
Lil Zay Osama was happy to walk out of a New York jail Friday (October 28) after he was granted a $1M bond in his guns case. Zay hit Instagram right away to share the news.
“I’m On A 1MiIlion Dollar Bail Rn Ima Beat This Up Like Rocky Thanks to my lawyer @dawnmflorio — We Locked In 5L,” the “Fuck My Cousin” rapper wrote on IG stories upon release.
DJ Akademiks shared the news on his Instagram page writing, “Lil zay osama released from jail after being caught with a Glock with a switch in a Uber.”
Ak’s caption didn’t sit well with the Chicago rapper. He returned on IG to check Ak’s comment posting, “I didn’t get caught with anything Ak stop incriminating me.”
Zay was picked up by police early this month after reportedly leaving a Glock 22.40 attached with a switch in an Uber he was traveling in. He was booked on possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a machine gun charges. This is because the switch gives the pistol a machine gun’s fully automatic firing capability.
