Latto clarifies that she likes Coi
Latto released a new song last Friday (April 21) titled, “Put It On The Floor,” where she name-dropped Coi Leray rapping: “Smokin’ on that gas, blunt big as Coi Leray / B**ches like to run their mouths but I’m the type to run the fade.”
At first, Coi didn’t react too well to the mention, accusing Latto of body shaming her among other things like trying to start feuds with other female rappers to imitate their male counterparts. Later on, the “Players” rapper returned on Twitter revealing that she “overreacted.” She also revealed that she isn’t a big fan being mentioned in songs.
During her Cochella performance over the weekend, Latto recited the part with Coi’s name, but after the song ended she said, “Aye, Coi. By the way I love your body, baby.”
