Kodak Black has reportedly been transferred from Big Sandy prison in Kentucky to high-security prison USP Thomson in Illinois. Yak posted his new prison address on his Instagram page urging his fans to get in touch with him.

Last year in October, it was reported that Kodak Black was involved in a prison fight with a fellow inmate that ended up with one prison guard injured. Consequently, the Pompano Beach MC was later transferred from Miami prison to Big Sandy where he claimed that he was being tortured by prison guards as punishment for the Miami prison fight incident.

Last month, the Dying To Live rapper filed a lawsuit against the Federal Bureau of prisons and its director. Kodak claimed that Big Sandy guards were regularly touring him, even keeping him away from bathroom access to the extent of peeing and defecating on himself. Kodak’s attorney Bradford Cohen has told TMZ that the rapper has confirmed that conditions in USP Thomson prison are better.

Despite the relief for Black, the Because Of You rapper is still 1,500 miles away from Miami, his home city.
