King Von, aka Grandson, adds platinum song to legacy
King Von’s “Crazy Story” was written at Lil Durk’s house. It was Von’s first song recorded and his breakout record, which is officially certified platinum as of December 6, 2020.
“We made ‘Crazy Story’ in my house. Like, he didn’t know how to write a song,” Durk said in King Von’s ‘Welcome to O’ block’ documentary, shot by Civil TV. “We had put that shit together and that shit had took over the streets.”
The song didn’t originally feature Durk, until “Crazy Story 2.0” came out, which grew the buzz around the OTF-signee, Von, even more. There wouldn’t be a surprise if “Took Her To The O” follows this platinum status.
