Kendrick Lamar’s ‘GNX’ producer reveals he submitted the title track beat days before the release
Kendrick Lamar snatched the beat for the title track of his new album GNX just days before it dropped. One of the song’s producers, Rascal, shared on Instagram a text exchange between him and Lamar asking for “some ignorant west sh*t”; he also added that it was “only two days ago” that the conversation happened.
“I want it some ignorant west sh*t… I’m bout to hit the studio now,” Dot’s alleged text read.
