When did Kanye’s “No More Parties in LA” go platinum? Kanye’s “No More Parties in LA” went platinum on May 3, 2022

Kanye’s “No More Parties in LA,” a fan favorite featuring Kendrick Lamar, went platinum on May 3, 2022. The single came out back in 2016 and previously reached gold status back on August 15, 2018. The song was part of Ye’s The Life of Pablo album rollout and wasn’t intended to be on the final tracklist but pressure from fans and social media helped the song make the cut.

The song features a sample from “Stand Up and Shout About Love” by Larry Graham and was produced by Mad Lib on an iPad. Graham happens to be Drake’s uncle so this song has a deep history. It took almost 6 years but fans made it happen.
