Justin Biener is the latest artist to sell his music rights
Justin Bieber is reportedly cutting a $200M deal to sell his music publishing rights to Blackstone’s Hipgnosis Songs Capital, according to The Wallstreet Journal. The catalog includes some of his biggest hits, “Love Yourself” and “Baby.”
Hipgnosis is a company that buys music rights from artists and makes profit from streams, advertisements, and more. Back in May, Justin Timberlake also sold his catalog to the company for $100M.
