JT and Nicki Minaj had an intimate conversation during a live stream
JT was one of the two female rappers featured on Nicki Minaj’s Queen Mix for “Super Freaky Girl” earlier this month, and the Florida native has been more than excited about it.
The two femcees connected for a conversation during an Instagram live session Saturday night (September 17) where the City Girls’ one half opened up to Nicki on how female rappers “study” the New York legend.
“As female rappers, when we go in the studio, we have to study Nicki Minaj, and that’s just the truth,” she admitted. She added that Nicki’s work inspires her and recalled at one point telling her engineers, “D*mn this b*tch cold. How the f*ck has she did this for so many motherf*cking years?”
JT continued that she believes in studying people who came before her. “You have to study people, and you have to write that sh*t down.”
