Joey Bada$$ to drop ‘2000’ album later this month
Joey Bada$$ dropped a new single & video, ‘’Where I Belong’’ from his upcoming album, 2000 on Friday (July 1). The Brooklyn rapper also revealed the release date for the forthcoming third studio album which drops July 22, as well as announcing pre-saves.
‘’2000 • 7/22/22,’’ the rapper wrote on Instagram. ‘’Album pre-saves & ‘Where I Belong’ available now | link in bio.’’
The album was initially set to arrive on June 17, but was delayed due to clearance issues. ‘’Man I got some terrible news, my album won’t be coming out tonight due to sample clearance issues 🤬,’’ Joey announced on Twitter.
He added, ‘’Right now, it’s unclear how long I’ll have to postpone it but my hope is no more than 2 weeks. I wanted to have a new date before I told you guys but it’s out of my control 😞.’’
