Jeru the Damaja depicted the WTC buildings burning on his album cover

Published February 20, 2022 by

On May 24, 1993, Jeru the Damaja released his debut album The Sun Rises in the East. His best performing album, the cover art features a drawing of the building with a picture of the rapper standing in front of burning twin towers at NYC’s WTC.
