Jay-Z withdraws lawsuit against ‘Reasonable Doubt’ cover photographer

Published January 26, 2023 by

Jay and his debut album cover photographer have reached an agreement

Jay-Z has settled the lawsuit he filed in 2021 against Reasonable Doubt album cover photographer, Jonathan Mannion, for using the rapper’s photos without his permission. According to Allhiphop, legal documents show that Hov and Mannion reached an agreement after working “diligently” and making “substantial progress,” thus are asking the judge to dismiss the lawsuit.

“Parties have engaged in settlement discussions and agreed in principle on the terms of the settlement, which includes a stipulated dismissal of this action, subject to execution of a long-form settlement agreement,” the paperwork reads.
