Cole teases his forthcoming album

J. Cole wants his fans to keep in mind that he has his sleeves rolled up for his next album, The Fall Off. The North Carolina rapper appeared on Summer Walker’s new EP, Clear 2: Soft Life, on the song “To Summer, From Cole (Audio Hug),” where he references the upcoming album.

“The b*tches that’s hatin’, they sit around waitin’ for you to fall off, like the album that I’m makin’,” Cole spits.

The highly-anticipated album was first announced in 2018 and has been presumed as Cole’s last studio release. Amid the release of The Off-Season in 2021, the 38-year-old rapper shared a long-term plan dubbed, “The Fall Off Era,” where he indicated that he’ll drop It’s A Boy project before he releases The Fall Off.
