Cube treats AI generated music just like sampling
As AI generated music continues to rapidly become a trend online, Ice Cube wants to get paid if his voice is used. During a recent interview on the Full Send Podcast, Cube was asked if he’s heard Drake’s AI song to which he replied, “Yeah, I don’t wanna hear that bullshit.”
He continued, “I’ll just sue whoever made it. And I’ma sue the motherf*cker too. And the people on the platform that play it. It’s like a sample. I mean, somebody can’t take your original voice and manipulate it, without having to pay.”
