Legendary Bronx producer Peter Phillips, famously known as, Pete Rock, was related to Legendary rapper Heavy D, he’s his younger first cousin. Heavy D was the one who brought Pete Rock into Hip-Hop. Pete Rock produced on Heavy D & the Boyz‘s third album Peaceful Journey.
