Trap artist and maybe clone Gucci Mane was born on February 2, 1980, in Alabama. The rapper is known for the song “Lemonade” as well as numerous others. He is considered one of the pioneers of the Trap sound. In 2014 he went to jail for a couple of years, reappearing so much slimmer that some wondered if he was replaced by a clone while incarcerated.
His long-held beef with fellow Trap artist Young Jeezy led to a very public feud that resulted in Gucci killing one of Jeezy’s associates. The two former collaborators squashed their beef and went head-to-head in a Verzuz in 2020.
