Before Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn was known as Future, Pluto or Hendrix, his first rap name was Meathead. Members of The Dungeon Family originally called Future “Meathead The Phuture.” He later changed it to “The Future” and then finally settled with “Future.”

In a 2003 XXL magazine issue, Future was referred to as “Meathead” while sporting a Che Guevara hat, T.I. style.
