Drake’s album ‘Scorpion’ clocks 10 billion streams on Spotify, his first to hit mark

Drizzy continues to shine on Spotify

Drake’s monster album Scorpion hits a new status on Spotify. This week, the body of work became Drake’s first album to garner 10b streams on the platform.

According to KWORB, Drizzy’s album Views is up next to reach the milestone as it now boasts 9.5b streams at the time this article was published.

Scorpion was released in 2018 as the 6 God’s fifth studio effort and included mega hits like “God’s Plan” & “Nice For What,” with former bearing 16x platinum certification at the time of publishing.

Besides breaking first day streams on Spotify & Apple Music, the album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 732k equivalent album units sold in the opening week.
