Drake dropped his sophomore studio album Take Care 9 years ago. The project has been on rotation all those years after its release. Thanks to Drizzy’s huge & loyal fanbase. The fan-favorite album has now been confirmed to have spent 400 weeks on the Billboard Hot 200 Chart, which is equivalent to over 8 years.
Take Care was a follow up to Thank Me Later, the rapper’s debut album. The project featured a more expansive Drake, who explored a wider range of themes and sound. It practically defined Drake’s modern style.
Hip hop fans fell in love with the So Far Gone rapper’s melodic flow, emotional crooning and peculiar cadence. Due to the weight the album carried, it debuted at number one on Billboard Hot 200, with 613 000 units sold in the first week, even with multiple songs having leaked online prior to the album release.
