Drake & Chris Brown hit with copyright infringement lawsuit for ‘No Guidance’

Drizzy & Breezy accused of stealing lyrics on their hit record

Drake and Chris Brown have come under fire for another alleged copyright infringement for their popular song “No Guidance”.

According to Music Business Worldwide, singer Tykeiya Dore and Marc Stephens have filed a lawsuit against the pair seeking over $5 million in damages because their song, ‘No Guidance’, allegedly lifted some elements of their 2016 hit, ‘I Got It’.

The complaint was lodged in the state of New Jersey and states that Brown, Drake and the rest of songwriters of “No Guidance” copied the primary lyric in “I Got It” and changed it to “You got it” while also retaining ‘the same chord progressions, tempo, pitch, key, melody, harmony, rhythm, structure, phrasing, and lyrics’ as those of Dore and Stephens.
