Doechii working on new album
Doechii’s ramp-up hit high level – Grammy nominations, great performance on TV, and a new Tiny Desk Concert under her belt. Bringing all that up into excitement, she’s releasing her debut album in 2025 to exploit her momentum.
This is after she revealed to Variety that her breakthrough project, Alligator Bites Never Heal, is a mixtape, not an album. The TDE artist spoke with the outlet for an article published on Friday (December 6). Doechii explained that her 2025 album will already be released: “Yes, an album. Quite a bit of live instrumentation.”
“All I think about is that album, so now I can just look forward to making more hits, making more music and just more of my goals reached,” she shared.
